Description

Jeyred-XT Injection by Ellanjey is a prescription-only parenteral iron formulation containing Iron Sucrose Injection USP (Ferric Hydroxide in Complex with Sucrose). Each 5ml ampoule provides 100mg of elemental iron. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) when oral iron preparations are ineffective, poorly tolerated, or cannot be used due to gastrointestinal conditions or rapid correction is required.

Key Benefits:

  • Rapid anemia correction – Faster hemoglobin rise compared with oral iron

  • 100% bioavailable – Complete absorption as it bypasses the gut

  • Low risk of severe allergy – Safer than iron dextran

  • No test dose required – Saves time in clinical setting

  • Bypasses GI side effects – No constipation, nausea, or abdominal pain
