JY-BACT Ointment by Ellanjey is a prescription / pharmacy-only topical antibacterial formulation containing Mupirocin I.P. 2% w/w. Mupirocin is a unique, naturally occurring antibiotic produced by fermentation of Pseudomonas fluorescens. It is indicated for the topical treatment of primary and secondary bacterial skin infections caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains – MRSA) and Streptococcus pyogenes.
