Description
FUZ-200 by Ellanjey is a potent, broad-spectrum oral antifungal medication containing Fluconazole I.P. 200 mg. Fluconazole belongs to the triazole class of antifungal agents and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol – an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By blocking the enzyme lanosterol 14-α-demethylase (a cytochrome P450-dependent enzyme), Fluconazole disrupts cell membrane formation, leading to increased membrane permeability, leakage of cellular contents, and ultimately fungal cell death.
