FAQs:
1. What is Ellgesic-TBR used for?
Ellgesic-TBR is used for pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with post-surgical wounds, orthopedic injuries (fractures, sprains), dental procedures, TMJ osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and sports injuries. It also promotes faster healing.
2. How should I take Ellgesic-TBR tablets?
Take exactly as prescribed, usually 1 tablet twice or thrice daily. For best absorption of proteolytic enzymes, take on an empty stomach (30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals). Swallow whole with water. Do not crush or chew.
3. What are the common side effects?
Common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea, headache, and dizziness. The proteolytic enzymes (Trypsin, Bromelain) are generally well-tolerated. Diclofenac may cause GI side effects. Serious side effects (GI bleeding) are rare with short-term use.
4. Can I take Ellgesic-TBR with other painkillers?
No, do not take with other NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin) or anticoagulants (warfarin, apixaban) as this increases the risk of bleeding and GI side effects. Paracetamol may be used for additional pain relief if needed – consult your doctor first.
